After a number of years, and 585 issues, the Shul Newsletter has now been redesigned along with the weekly Sedra Sheet. This new design has being incorporated across other communications including the Spring/Summer Programme which was released this week. Programmes were emailed and printouts are available in Shul.

The Rav will be available in the Shul Beis Hamedrash on Wednesday & Thursday 9 and 10 April (8.00pm to 9.00pm) and on Motzoi Shabbos 12 April (8.45pm to 9.45pm) to arrange for members to sell their Chometz. Please use the Shul Sale of Chometz Form that you can download with the links below. Please remember that if you are selling Chometz on behalf of someone else, they will have to complete the proxy agreement on the Sale of Chometz Form
On 7th May around 40 women met with Rabbi Cohn, the Chairman and a member of the Board to share their thoughts and concerns regarding issues that affect the women of our shul, and to give the Rov an opportunity to respond point by point.
Rabbi Dovid Cohn shlit"a, has issued the following statement on the topic of reporting crime
The EGM took place on Tuesday 1st January 2013 with 56 full members present, along with many associate members. A vote was conducted on the motion to amend the constitution to remove the requirement of affiliation to the Union of Hebrew Congregations, and was passed by a majority of 52-2.
The Board is aware of the controversy regarding the UOHC in NW London. In order to register our protest against its mismanagement and the resulting Chillul Hashem we wish to withdraw the shul from the Union. In order to do this we must first call an EGM to amend the current constitution which requires the shul to be a member of the UOHC. Once the constitution has been amended the way is clear for us to act.
If you are a full (male) member of the shul and approve this action please sign the attached resolution and return it as soon as possible.
UPDATE: We have received the required number of votes and the EGM will be held in the shul on Tuesday 1st January 2013 at 10.00am.
